    Acknowledgement of file received

    I think it would be a godsend for Actinic Support to send an acknowledgement email to let you know that it has received files/snapshots sent to support. In (my) most cases the use of support can be the last resort and it would help instill confidence if we were to know that the files has got to its intended recipient.

    What would they do that for, it's such an obvious thing to do but why would Actinic want to do that when they could tell you....

    Did you know Actinic also supplies ultra-reliable hosting, highly integrated payment processing, specialist telephone support and training and a low cost postcode lookup service?


    Again, and again, and again. Why Support doesn't have a dedicated line I don't know

    The most basic functions of an internet-fueled business is exactly what Actinic lacks, somehow I don't think they understand how frustrating it is sitting around waiting on them to phone you back when quite frankly they never do (okay, v.v.v.rarely), always swept under the rug for another day

      4 years of support, second only time of needing assistance and so far passed from pillar to post and no word if they have the file sent, that's all I want, a simple yes/no. Very Cheesed Off

        Don't worry Darron, it's impressive that you've only requested support twice in 4 years, but I doubt it'll be your last bad experience. The point has been made numerous times by several members of the community but nothing has ever been done.

          What makes it all the worst is getting an email last week from Actinic promoting their services should I be looking for an ecommerce solution

              Hi Darron, it's a good point. We generally try to acknowledge receipt of files, but this one seems to have been missed, due to the person who received it being off sick. The file has been received and is being investigated.

                Probably not the right medium to be asking but here goes. Whoever is dealing with this has rung several times over the last few days and missed me and has promised to ring back later but still waiting. Can they call my mobile (number now removed)
