    Shipping

Shipping is currently either based on weight OR value,
I would like it to be both!

Would like this kind of result:
    10g of product "A" @ £10.00
= upto 10g Royal Mail Post Rate (Royal Post are insured £41)
    : normal

    10g of product "B" @ £100.00
    = Special Delivery (@ insured to £500)
: actinic would normally default to "upto 10g Royal Mail Post" Rate
: we cannot risk £41 insurance on £100...

    10g of product "C" @ £1000.00 = Special Delivery (@ insured to £1000)
    = Special Delivery (@ insured to £1000)
: actinic would normally default to "upto 10g Royal Mail Post" Rate
: if changed to Special Delivery, would normally be the £500 insured rate

    Hope the idea is there...

Customers won't opt to pay for more to be insured, would like actinic to provide accurate/correct options during checkout.

So, I think I'm after the ability for shipping rate to be based on weight and site would change the available option depending on the value of the order.

    - shipping tables based on (insured) values, so the tables no longer are just two columns, each column is a different insured value...

    Also, can this be done:
A "tick box" of some sort in Actinic shipping that is = signed for delivery.
And on the product, a tick box for "this item requires signed for delivery".
So, actinic will check if any items are "signed for delivery" then only offer "signed for delivery" shipping methods during checkout.

This will help temporarily to avoid everything with a low weight and at any value defaulting to the lowest postal rate...

    Rgds, Tak.
