Category based shipping works well for us. Goods are no longer based on weight. Our suppliers can ship very heavy items cheaper than we can for a fixed rate. Currently we are using 4 categories and if goods are purchased across different categorys the highest shipping rate applies.
However it would be nice to introduce 'special products' from a specialist supplier(s) where all goods from within this category are delivered for us at a flat rate BUT the shipping on this category is ADDED as a separate charge.
So we need a Category(s) with a check box against it to keep it as a separate shipping charge from the rest.
