Doing a large hierarchical import, the error file simply reports the line number together with the error message. This line number never correlates to the actual line on the import file when you import both in Excel & try to match up.
It would be much helpful if the actual offending line is output along with the line number & the error message. Better still, the last couple of lines with the offending line highlighted to help diagnose the issues.
