We are experiencing a problem when our Actinic V8.5.2 ecommerce is trying to update stock in EPOS. We are currently managing stock in EPOS and all has been well until Friday. It started when we were performing refunds on Actinic ecommerce and trying to cancel an order line. We started receiving the following message:
"An attempt was made to access an unnamed file past its end."
Followed by:
"Error accessing the database. Check the permissions on the file and the files existence."
We gave up on cancelling the line but now when we try to run a download it gets stuck when updating stock. We can however run the "Reset EPOS Stock levels"?
As a work around we have had to switch the manage stock in EPOS off and are manually lowering the stock sold through EPOS on our ecommerce system.
We originally posted this within the Actinic V8 section of the community but with further investigation feel it is more relevant to the Actinic EPOS section as it appears to be a problem between the link from Actinic ecommerce and EPOS stock system.
We have checked the permissions on the databases, compacted all databases, switched off the EPOS link server and restarted it but unfortunately this has not been successful.
