Strange one....
Google is replacing any "£" character with a "J" within any site listing and it also appears in the webcache, see an example for our Camel Costume of the Google Web Cache.
I didn't think that this was problem specific to Sellerdeck so I did post this question elsewhere on the web and got the following response

you need to replace the £ symbol with it's code format which is £ , this will then reference the symbol as html and you won't get this issue again
