No Pricing in search results on permutations

Is there anyway to get any kind of pricing from permutations to show in search results?

If you look at This Page you will see that the necklace has no price because the item is available in 3 different sizes, and prices determined with permutations.

If you then click on the necklace you will see the price displayed as £94.95 - £114.95 this is a custom variable that I have included in the layout to make pricing on the product page possible.

Any idea on how I can get any pricing to work in the search results, or include my custom variable?

I am aware that I can set a base price, and then just add the additional amount with permutations for the longer lengths, but consider this to be a very messy fix.

Any ideas on how this can be achieved?

It means that it still isn't an easy seamless way to show products by item, and brand without using product duplicates.
