    Out of Stock remove 'add to cart' button

    If I recall correctly, in v10 when a simple item without choices (attributes/components) etc went out of stock, (and stock control is enabled) then the add to cart button was replaced with an 'out of stock' message.

    However on V14, the 'add to cart' button is still there, clicking it returns the correct message that the item is not available... but it is better that the customer could see the item was out of stock before trying to add it to the basket.

    example;

    Does anyone know how the removal of the add to cart button is/was enabled for out of stock items?

    A v14 site with stock control should have Add To Cart disappear when a product is out of stock. Check the Settings under Business Settings that the Default Suspend Orders If Below is set to 1. Note that can be overwritten on a Product, however from the Help file "If you leave a '0' this field, SellerDeck will use the global 'Suspend if Below' level".

      Thansk for the reply.

      Yes I am using the 'suspend orders below' on each product... this data is linked to an external excel spread sheet.

      See attached screenshot for this item;
      http://www.arka-shop.co.uk/acatalog/...21.html#SID=15http://www.arka-shop.co.uk/acatalog/...21.html#SID=15

      It shows zero stock in hand and suspend below 1... but the 'Add to Cart' button is still there.
      and when you click it it tells you it is out of stock.

        The error says "the combination you selected is unavailable" check if you have a component, hidden product or associated choice attached to that product affecting the stock.

          Yes I noticed that as well and thought it was odd...

          but no.. there are no components or choices at all with that product. See attached image.

          Its not the only one behaving like it either.

            Support havent been able to work out whats wrong either and have had to pass it to development.

            "the code changes made, do not appear to make a difference, and reverting everything to the default design does not make the site operate correctly either linked or unlinked."
