Received email today from Google:
I assume we list as VAT exclusive and our Google xml file is listed VAT inclusive (worked for many years)
and now Google wants our page to have the VAT inclusive price.
On checking other listings, I see them with both prices.
So, I changed the Price Layout to show both, but found a problem
- problem matches to this thread :
https://community.sellerdeck.com/for...-excluding-vat
I have the same problem and managed to change the variables to "TaxInclusive..."
- can't believe a fundamental v11 problem still exists in v16
I assume listing both VAT exclusive and inclusive prices will resolve this new Google requirement.
Dear Google Shopping Merchant,
It has come to our attention that your Google Merchant Center account ID ####### (####.co.uk, GB) does not comply with our Google Shopping feed specification (available at https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188494).
Your product listings are currently at risk of suspension because Google Shopping doesn’t allow product listings with inaccurate prices (due to value-added tax (VAT) related issues):
We found that for many of your items, the price as submitted in your product data is not in compliance with our feed specifications on the 'price' attribute. Please update your product data and the corresponding landing pages on your website to ensure that the specified price is inclusive of any applicable taxes such as value added tax (VAT) if required in the target country.
We have different requirements for the price on your landing page and whether it must be inclusive of any applicable taxes based on the country that you are targeting. For more information about Tax and your target country's requirements, please see https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/2704214.
