I have successfully had this famous hack working, that allow buy-from-search-results

working on a v14 site for many years.
I have just tried to apply it to a currently working v18 and I get "The search results template is corrupt. No search results XML found."
I have been over and over it and can't see what is wrong - and then I wondered does it work in v18 ? I see it is kind of in the AUG but only as a link to the forum code.
Does anyone have it working on v18? Does someone have a partial design snapshot that I could import ?
