Does anyone edit their crystal reports to pull from other databases?
I created an access database to pull together an SQL table and combine it with acitinc tables in a query.
The purpose of this was to list on the packing sheet product locations in the warehouse. This would enable the list to only show those locations that had stock as multiple locations are possible.
We've had this working for sometime with v9, but whatever I do I can't get it to work with v10, I keep getting dll errors when trying to print or preview.
Its almost as if v10 actinc is being too aggressive when setting up the database details before calling crystal, assuming that only its database are present in the report and assigning all reports/subreports with one set of database criteria.
I know this probably seems a bit specialised but does anyone else combine different data sources into their reports in this way?
