Im hoping someone can offer some advice....
We are running a site in EC on my machine which is also running EPOS and linked to another machine at the shop Counter running EPOS. Stock etc is all linked no problems.
My issue is the follow :-
I have approx 200 products sitting in EC with missing descriptions and image links , although they have pricing , stock , product name which is enough for the product to be transfered to EPOS and sold at the counter.I should also point out that these items are hidden on the website.
Now , i want to start adding images and descriptions , but really only have time to do this in the evening on my home machine , is it possible to take a snapshot of the site , work on the products at home and when finished , import a snapshot back into my office computer. Will this screw-up any stock info linked to EPOS ?
Can anybody see any other pitfalls or solutions ?
