Will the online stock control work in this scenario.
Basically we have 2 PCs. I do the order processing on one and my partner is responsible for developing the site, adding new products and suchlike on another PC. When he's finished a tranche of work he will create a snapshot and I'll import the content.
I really want to implement realtime stock control. The business is purely web based and we have no offline orders.
When I import a snapshot, will the online stock control sync with the imported snapshot? ie will it automatically pick up all the new 'new product' stock levels and then synchronise all the downloaded orders with the old products? My partner may be working on the site for a couple of days, in which time we could have had dozens of orders.
EDIT:we're using Business Plus. Just had a go with the multi user options. Switched it on then turned it off again. Every time I now load this site I get asked for the user name and password. How can I turn this off?
