I just thought that it looked a bit 'messy'

Really odd as my demo site and the brightstar site display fine in Chrome (14.0) on my main machine at work but not on a laptop so it is either a version or browser setting problem.

Interesting that is a V11 site out of the box. Looks fine in firefox too which is what I was using to test the emails. It is just a dummy site uploaded quickly to check out the emails but needs looking into. thanks

this is the full url to look up an order http://customer-site4.toddesigns.co....N=LOOKUP_ORDER, that is a dummy site but the link should display the order details

    EDIT:
The Automatic email is stored on in a txt file and is not generated from the order received email design in the Actinic. You will need to edit the Act_CustomerEmail.txt and you can put a url link in here.
It is even possible to include the order number and postcode automatically but this does not work as the space in the post code needs to be a + in the final string so a bit of Perl coding would be needed.

    Order Received e-mails

    Hi,

So far so good with V11

Orders coming through, customer accounts being created and order tracking working !

I am trying to put a link into the Order Received e-mail that is sent to the customer so that they can go directly to their Customer Account/Order Tracking from the e-mail.

I have tried creating a custom variable and putting this into the e-mail template, but it does not work. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

PS: I have suggested to Actinic that this should be incorporated as standard and they have added to the wishlist for a future release.
Working...
