Just had confirmation back from support on another bug regarding the layout list and thought best to share the workaround on the forum.
When editing an existing layout list (the orange link) to fully remove the <table> elements under "rows and columns" for laying out via CSS these cells need to have some dummy content to ensure the layout passes through on a partial snapshot.
Alternatively a list needs to be created from scratch and not based upon an existing.
Big hug to Chris D for that one .. been a royal pain in the bum when transferring sites via the PDS.
