I'm very confused as to which way to go. Perhaps someone can guide me; thanks.
Background
(For my sins) I look after a Linux server operating as a small ISP. Currently there is an expired SSL certificate residing there. At the same time I want to get one (and perhaps more) Actinic clients operating on the server. We use a Linux consultant to do the more nitty gritty one-off work - I can do the repeated jobs.
SSL etc
The options seem to be:
1. Place a single server-level certificate on the server, replacing the expired one. This will give our ISP name, rather than that of any specific (Actinic) client. Is this 'Shared SSL'?
2. Place multiple client-owned certificates on the same server.
3. Give up and use the Actinic Shared SSL service, one per client.
Opinions
Have I understood this? If you have this experience, which option did you go for? Many thanks...
