really simple duplicate problem! sorry

Hi all

I have a lot of product duplicates and wanting to change the product duplicate however when i change the layout in the original product, it doesnt automatically change the duplicate.

as i have a few various layouts depending on product i cannot use a parent option

any suggestions?

sorry to waster time. found that i just had to untick the product layout box in the duplicates field config.
