crash on publish to web

Hi all, one of mine clients running V9 business on a XP keeps getting a crash when publishing to web.

To sort this out I have read/learnt that I can reopen Actinic, then close it compacting the database and backing the database up.

We then open Actinic and publish to web and all is fine.

I have exported a snapshot onto my own pc and can't reproduce the problem, so I was wondering if anybody else has had this? I can't see it being a database thing as it works on my own machine, could it be a registry or program conflict problem? Or could it be an old store they still run (actinic7) on the same machine.

Any idea would be great.

you can run both v7 and 9 on the same pc, so no issue there.

maybe reinstall software on the problematic pc, since the snapshots work on other pcs

Yeah, tried that already. I thought it could be a memory issue, but there is plenty.

Just a thought - but how long are you image filenames? as sometimes if to long (especially if got them in separate directories) this can cause crashes on uploads too!
