Google Analytics in Catalog V8

I would like to add Google Analytics in Catalog V8 version.

I'm wondering if I can create a layout and make it part of every page of my actinic design so that I don't have to manually add the code to its an every page.


Would that work?

Why not search the forum on 'Google Analytics' and follow the massive, extensive, huge, long and extensive guidelines already here?

Please search before posting (forum guidelines explain it), this subject has been done to death and needs no further threads at all.
