value of variable

From the design tab, is there a quick way of seeing the value of a variable?

You could just insert the variable into the layout and it will show the value in the preview - depends on the scope of the variable of course.

Thanks Duncan, I should have been more specific but as an example, I am looking in the layout code and I see a variable entitled 'BrochureLogoImage'. Whats the quickest way of viewing its currently assigned value?

Many thanks - I suppose that is adequate if you happen to know where each variable is set but I just hoped there maybe a right click or mouse hover option or similar.
