Upgrade to 6.1.4: A General Script Error Occurred

it would appear that this is happening with a *.session.LCK file that somehow appears in the ~/public_html/acatalog directory. i have moved all the ../cgi-bin perl scripts and upladed twice, as suggested on the bulletin board i have even tried renaming them as *2.* and back to *1.* but still the problem occurs.

the issue is that it doesn't happen all the time. it seems that the issue transpires when the customer tries to checkout from the page presented from the cgi-bin/ca000001.pl script. however, if the customer goes back to the store and check's out from the menu and thus a static html page, the issue does not seem to occur. here's the result from the page called from http://joke.co.uk/cgi-bin/ca000001.pl as:

and then the following .LCK file appears:

I understand you are working with Tracey on this problem.

Just to confirm, you will be able to downgrade back to 6.1.2 and still use the new PSPSetup.exe file from http://www.actinicdownloads.com/v6/ with the HSBC integration.

Our development team are currently working to try and find out what has caused the problem on your site.

thanks chris. yes, am working with tracey. there are to problems:

[1] the secure.actinicsecure.com ssl certificate has been resolved successfully.

[2] the script error messages resulting from *.session.LCK files is still outstanding. tracey has emailed to advise people are working on a solution and i have a small back script hack running to delete all s8cu .LCK files as an interim measure. i hope a solution can be found tomorrow )
