It manages your opt in email addresses, helps you configure the opt in sign up box on your website and manages all your email campaigns. You can also do email a friend and gift reminders with it.
It's free for 60 days and then the monthly price depends on the number of subscribers you have.
I'm not sure of the costs of other packages like this but this is the easiest one I've found. I know Jo at Pinbrook hosting loves post office pro but I just couldn't get the hang of it, and their support is totally non existent (correct me if I'm wrong, Jo).
