I have a custom template however is it possible to to not use default Actinic buttons for certain links, and intergrate these into the template, using my own button? The links in question are Shopping cart/Contact/View Cart/Checkout + I want to use my own search bar.

Yes you can use your own buttons and use the Actinic generated links for "Shopping cart/Contact/View Cart/Checkout", better to use their variables which generate the links based on your network settings. You can find the links for these pages from a default layout and then copy the link around your own image buttons.

Thanks for quick reply. I am having issue finding the default layout variables.
