Worldpay Upgrade Autumn 07

whilst this isn't just V8, i though I'd prefer this to be in a PSP sub forum, hence putting it here

WP have announced a major upgrade up and coming soon. I wonder if Actinic are aware of it and have taken steps to ensure the smooth transistion of actinic/worldpay integration.

Ok no-one from Actinic wants to reply....

anyway WP have seen sense and are putting this back until the first 1/4 of 2008, which pleases me no end.

I'd definitely second Jo's request for some input from Actinic on this one. I'm sure no-one wants a repeat of the Protx debacle

WorldPay's technical info is a bit woolly at best:

Most changes seem to relate to the management of payments and fraud screening after orders are received, rather than changes to the Actinic - > WorldPay calls / callbacks.

Do Actinic have any more information to share?

Looks like there are going to be some script changes for this (groan...). We'll publish the details as soon as the upgrade is ready.

I just wondered whether the script changes will be applied to versions 7 and 6 too, as I don't currently have v8.

The script changes don't affect live transactions. It only affects test ones, so you won't have to worry about upgrading if your store is live.

Is worldpay sorted now? I have a friend who wants to go Actinic and uses WP.

No the upgrade (to make WP PCI/DSS compliant) has been postponed until after Xmas.
