ePDQ is no longer supported by Secure Hosting. Customers have to sign up for a UPG (Universal Payment Gateway) merchant ID from Barclaycard and enter in into ‘Business Settings’

Important ePDQ service news
Please note that this only affects ePDQ clients; those using UPG are not affected.
Barclaycard has recently announced that it is decommissioning the current ePDQ MPI which is the technology which allows Actinic to communicate with ePDQ via SecureHosting. In simple terms, this means from around the 1st March 2008, you may no longer be able to process payments via the ePDQ service.
SecureHosting has an alternative solution which will allow you to continue processing transactions, requires no changes to your website, and will still process payments through to your Barclaycard merchant account. Please follow the steps below ASAP if you are using the ePDQ service.
1. Contact Barclaycard and request an additional Internet merchant number. Mention that it will be used for the UPG payment gateway.
2. Once you have completed the application with Barclaycard and received your new merchant number, please send it to SecureHosting.
3. SecureHosting will put it live and inform you once it is ready to be used for processing payments.
