    Bounce Time Review

This is not so much a site review but more a 'Bounce Time Review' when adding to the basket.

I'd appreciate a few people to add something to the basket at A Party Shop and then let me know if the bounce back to the product is too fast, too slow or if they'd prefer to manually click to go back?

    Thanks

    Peter

Ideally I would only want to have some notification that the item had been added to the cart rather than see the cart itself every time - wish list - however...

I don't like auto bounces as they will never please everyone but my personal preference would be to have a confirmation and checkout now button and no bounce back.

Personally i always set bounce rate to zero to force a manual click. I am always momentarily confused when actinic bounces back to the product just bought - yes even after 10 years of actinic! my first thought is has my purchase been added? my second thought is ** actinic

I like Duncan's proposal, but assume it requires some trickery that I don't have.

Jo (Pinbrook), is there a site where we can see your solution in operation....and can it be done without any other mods?

Peter (Partyshop), for the standard Actinic set-up, I felt your bounce was just about perfect.

all you do is set bounce delay to 0 (zero)

Bounce page set to 0 on Thursday evening.

We then had one of the best Friday, Saturday & Sunday sales for some months, so can only assume this setting was a major factor but will see when compared to next weeks sales totals.

            Thanks everyone, much appreciated
