I have just acquired 3 domains from a competitor that ceased trading. They are not the main trading name of the company, just keyword rich generic domains.
1 is Dmoz listed
1 has PR of 2, higher than the site I wish to point it at.
1 has 216 back links, some quality links, but also a lot of various forums.
My question is, is there any benefit in pointing these to my site, or indeed any danger of Google not liking it.
If any of them are usable what would be the best way of doing it, my thoughts are;
1) Point to site from the domains control panel (URL redirect)
2) Have a landing page in the name of the domain with links to my site.
3) some sort of 301 redirect
4) something I haven't though of.
Any advice would be greatly received.
Many thanks
Jason
