What characters are allowed for the Product Reference?

Any printable character may be used for the Product Reference including with the exception of:

! Exclamation mark
" Double quotes
' Single quotes
: Colon
_ Underscore
| Vertical bar
% Percentage sign
* Asterik

From version 10.0.3, the following characters are also blocked, due to the risk of cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks:

< greater than
> less than
( left parenthesis
) right parenthesis
& ampersand
; semicolon

Also note, Product References are not case sensitive, so product reference "ABC" is treated as the same as "abc".
