When upgrading from SellerDeck Ecommerce V6 to V8 the upgrade is closed by windows..

When upgrading from SellerDeck Ecommerce V6 to V8 the upgrade is closed by windows due to errors.

This problem occurs because V6 uses an Access 97 database, which does not support all of the functions that V8 needs to be able to perform.
To resolve the problem the V6 Databases need to be converted to Access 2000 before upgrading. So as not to affect the V3 installation the procedure is as follows: -
    - Delete the database ActinicCatalog.mdb from the V7 site folder, normally c:\Actinic v7\Sites\Site1.
    - Delete the database SimplShipping.mdb from the V7 site folder, normally c:\Actinic v7\Sites\Site1\ShipControl.
    - Open Access 2000.
    - Select Tools | Database Utilities | Convert Database | To Current Access Database Version.
    - Navigate to the V3 ActinicCatalog.mdb, normally this is in c:\Actinic Catalog v3\Site1.
    - Click Convert.
    - Navigate to the V7 site folder, normally c:\Actinic Ecommerce V6\Sites\Site1.
    - Enter the new database name ActinicCatalog.mdb.
    - Click Save.
    - Select Tools | Database Utilities | Convert Database | To Current Access Database Version.
    - Navigate to the V3 SimpleShipping.mdb, normally this is in c:\Actinic Catalog v3\Site1\ShipControl.
    - Click Convert.
    - Navigate to the V7 Ship Control folder, normally c:\Actinic Ecommerce V6\Sites\Site1\ShipControl.
    - Enter the new database name ActinicCatalog.mdb.
    - Click Save.
Open SellerDeck Ecommerce V7, the database should now be upgraded successfully.
