If you are finding you have to keep entering your licence key on a Business Plus user PC, it is most likely because you are using a mapped network drive to connect to your sites folder. On some operating systems, this can be a problem. Please see the steps below to change this:
You are now connected to the sites folder via a UNC path and not a mapped network drive, this should resolve the problem
- On the business plus user PC experiencing the problem, go to 'File | Sites' and click on the 'Sites Directory' button. Make a note of the path in the directory field.
- Click “Browse”
- Expand “Network” or “My network places”
- Select the PC which has the main SellerDeck databases on, and then locate the “sites” folder. The path should look something like the following:
\\COMPUTER1\Sites
- Click Ok
You are now connected to the sites folder via a UNC path and not a mapped network drive, this should resolve the problem
