    Creating product options

SellerDeck has a 'Product Options' wizard to simply the creation of options. Once the options have been created, they are displayed in the 'Content Tree' and are explained below:
    • Attributes - - These are characteristics of a product that can vary such as 'style', 'length', 'size', etc.
    • Choices - - These are individual options within an attribute.
    • Components - - These allow you to create more sophisticated options such as an optional extra (that costs money) or a range of options where each option is a different price.

    1. Click on the product you want to add the options to.
    2. Go to the product Details and then click on Product Option’s panel

    3. Click on Add a New Option.
    4. Tick the Combine this with another option.
    5. Name the first option (aka, Attribute) – For example: Jacket Size
    6. Click on the little plus (+) icon and add the choices for that attribute, for example: 40, 42, 44, 46, 48… etc.

    7. Click on the ‘Option 2’ tab
    8. Enter the name of the second attribute. For Example – Colour
    9. Click the plus icon and add the choices. For Example – Black, Navy, Grey etc…

    10. Once again tick the Combine with another option
    11. Go to the Option 3 tab, which would have just appeared.
    12. Enter in the name: For Example – Fit
    13. Click the plus icon and add all of the Choices: For Example – Small, Medium, Long.

    14. Then click Next > This will then show you all of the options there will be

Here is where you can choose if you want to charge a price for each option and stock, if you do stock control (NB including stock will create Hidden Products for each option)
You can also choose what prices you would like to use.

Use Product Price - This will then ignore any prices put into the wizard (E.g. will ignore the choices price)

Ignore the product price and just use these prices - This will ignore the main product price (the product we are adding the options to) and just use the prices you enter into the table in the wizard

Add these prices to the product price - This will add the main product price and the prices you put into the table, together

    15. Please ADD A PRICE into the price column (even if its just a £1.00) we need to do this to get the component to appear in the content tree.
    16. Click Next >
    17. Choose is you want to use drop down boxes or radio buttons for each attribute.

      1. Fit, Colour and Jacket Size

    18. because you have added prices into the columns before hand you can also choose:

      1. Include a grid of choice details
      2. Include Prices
      3. Hide out of stock options (this will only work if you have added stock into the table)

    19. You can also choose whether to show the prices in the dropdown box or not (this can only be changed if you have put in prices)
    20. Click Next >
    21. Click Finish

This will now be in your content tree

This will now be in the permutations
