    IE crashing on this forum.

Strange one this. For the last few days, every time I navigate to this forum IE crashes.

I can view it fine if I set security to high, but setting it back to medium again brings back the crashes.

This is with 6.0.29 with XP SP2 installed. Has anyone else seen this or have any idea what's going on?

i would recommend switching to Firefox web browser - faster and more stable IMO, plus it blocks popups!

      So does IE these days.

Strangely enough it seems to have fixed itself now but I've still no idea what it was.

My experience is that whenever IE starts playing up, it means you will need to do a full PC re-install soon.

This happened to me recently - IE kept throwing up an error, the only solution was a re-install and use Opera/Firefox in the meanwhile

Since SP2 upgrade i have nothing but problems with ie, the only way i found around this was to dig into the bowls of ie and delete every little bit of history it was storing. The firewall is the problem, blocks what it wants when it wants, Sometimes it blocks my whole internet connection on start up and i have to restart 2 or 3 times before it lets me transfer data. And believe it or not windows firewall is turned off.

          Cheers
          Darren
