Snapshot Backup

I run 2 sites from this machine using developer. When I change between sites the location of the backup file defaults to the last saved ACD file so I have to remember to change the file name from Site1.ACD to Site2.ACD and vice-versa.

This is fine if I am using the machine but I am concerned for others using the machine on my day off they will forget to change the filename and over-write the data to the wrong backup. Is it possible to set a default ACD filename for each site or do I have to keep my fingers crossed?

Hi there

I'm afraid there is no feature for this, however, what you could do, is to create two folders within the site snapshot backup called Site1 and Site2 and save the different snapshot in there?

Thanks for the reply Nadeem - I am already working that system but wanted to safeguard for others not changing it - oh well hopefully the snapshot will not be overwriten just when I need it.

This is a good suggestion, having a default acd filename for each site. It would be useful for developers, so i will add it to our wishlist.
