First up its great that Actinic even has a wish list for us to contribute to, but I sometimes wonder how effective our suggestions are, and how they are monitored or considered by the developers.
May I suggest a couple of ways Actinic may gather more accurate information about what its users may want from them.
1) Adding a wish list facility to a users profile (not sure how you would do this, but here's the idea).
Within a users profile is the ability to nominate a top 5 wish list items in order of pereference, either from a list of existing requests, or the ability to add a new request. This way everyone who wants to gets a fair crack at nominating an item, and the developers can get more of an idea as to whats important to us.
By placing the option within a users profile it limits its users to 5 requests (which can be changed/updated by the user in same way as they can change their profile), which possibly gives a more accurate ranking method.
2) The second option is simply to have a wish list section within the boards.
That way users can view all previous requests, and add their vote to them, rather than randomly stumbling upon wants throughout the boards.
Personally, I think option 1 would give far more useful results, but is probably the hardest to implement.
