    Dreamweaver/CSS

How do you tell Dreamweaver not to apply css to text etc.

I need to add old fashioned font tag etc to my text but at the mo DW inserts a style sheet

What version of Dreamweaver are you using?
I am sure this is possible in dw mx to set in the software settings, not sure if it possible to do by website though.

Jo you might be quicker to hard code it, I am always changing the font html through the code, the CSS never seems 100% accurate for me.

I assume you are wanting to keep the CSS and just overide in certain places?

If so if you use the <font face="Times New Roman">NEW FONT</font> etc accordingly it will override the default CSS setting as the <font> tag appears "further down the line" that a call to the CSS style.

          I'm using MX

I am happy to set this in software settings, so I can turn it on and off as required.

            In dreamweaver, mainmenu, go
            'Edit, Preferences, General'
            Find the last checkbox
'Use CSS instead of HTML tags'
Check or uncheck depending on occasion and mood )
