    Is there a third switch/maestro?

It's a pain enough that these cards are issued some with issue numbers and some not, but we're getting customers complaining that now they can't enter their switch/maestro cards because it doesn't have either an issue or a start date!

Is there now a third version of these cards? I've tried setting it up and actinic won't have it!

    TIA - Helen

Isn't it the RBS or Bank of Scotland cards which have this?

      Hi Jont

I think RBS is the only issuer with issues numbers (or the only one without - can't remember which way round now) - all the others have a start and expiry date.

But we're now getting customers saying their switch/maestro card has NO issue number and NO start date!

I don't know whether they're getting confused but it's sure as hell confusing us!

      Regards - Helen

My own First Direct / HSBC Switch has no start date but an issue number and I haven't had problems through Protx.

I would imagine the problem is with the processing acquirer.Who are they?
