    clickclocker affiliate software help please

Hi I have just taken hosting of a new client. The previous hosting company lost all their site due to a server failure. All was recovered except the workings of clickclocker. I seem to have most files but I am struggling with what I have got. Is there anyone out there who can help me get this going again. They are running on version 6.1.2 catalog as well.
    Thanks

Did you get anywhere with this? And who was the host?

yes and no. My client paid for them to reinstall it as half of the code was missing. This was about the time of the long postings of "slow checkout". I am stuck, I can move my site to a linux server which should solve my problem but I don't know how to re-install this software again. Have to hard code some binary codes!!
so no I am not much further. Half of me thinks this software caused the problem but on the other hand.

The trouble is the guy bought this software (before I took over the site) and it cost £1200 and then they stopped selling it, so he reluctant to look else where for this particular site. Are you a perl expert?

No we don't do perl, only under duress. I personally would simply pay the £250 and charge it back to your client. It is probably cheaper in the long run!

They had already just paid the £250 re-installation when the server started causing problems!

as sad as that is....it is your fault?

I still maintain that you will spend more than £250 of your time saving your client £250

no luckily! server problems (in "slow checkout" ) just seemed to start at approx the same time. Just trying to save the customer money becuase he seems to blame me for server problems.. Still trying to get to the bottom of this..

Are you running the Unix or NT version?

I've got some experience of CC running it with Actinic V4 and V5 and shortly V6.
