Forum Rearrangement

Please note there has been a restructuring of the Community this morning.

- ' Initial Web Site / Network Configuration ' has now been closed and moved to the bottom.
- 'Actinic v4 (and earlier) Support' has been merged with 'Actinic v5 Support' to create 'Actinic v5 (and earlier) Support'
- A new 'Actinic EPOS' forum has been created
- The forums have been rearranged a bit. Actinic Developers is now at the top, and 'Actinic v6 Support' is now further down

Hope that's cool with everyone.

Maybe I am used to the old layout but it does seem a little disjointed now. Would it not be better to keep the version sections together eg:

v7
v6
v5 and earlier
Express
Epos
Ecommerce
Other Buisness
Developer
French

I agree with jont it does seem to make sense to group all the versions of Actinic together.

I think you could also merge 'Ecommerce Business Issues' and 'Any Other Business' too.

Other arrangements don't bother me as I always use "new Posts"

I agree with Jonty. I prefer similar sections to be grouped together.

And what is the purpose of the developer section? I can view the first page of subjects now (but not the threads themselves) and it all looks like the same stuff as in the rest of the forum. If there isn't anything secret or relevant going on then why bother with it at all?

Actinic Link

Hi, how about an Actinc Link forum.
I realise we could end up with hundreads of sections but I for one think Link should have its own section as it is a product in its own right.

Rather than have continual little changes, I think we'll do another restructuring in a few months - and we'll look at whether an Actinic Link forum is a go-er.
