Printed Catalogue

We would like to print catalogues on demand and even then from limited sections of our site.

Has anyone had experience of EasyCatalog by 65bit or similiar?

I Looked at this simular but substatially cheaper software but never took it any further

I was also looking at a easy way to produce a disk based system to post to potential customers who really wanted to see a printed catalogue but we could not afford the printing

If you come up with a easy way of transfering data into a offline disk based system please let me know

I am hoping to make an ODBC connection to the db and the link to the images. We can do this in Actinic or our back office system xbase files.

As for output I suspect that we will have to go with a higher end product than MS Publisher. Probably Adobe that we could also output to PDF.

As for production - going such a route would hopefully allow one off or small qty to a colour lasers or full print production.

i have just been trying with the trial versions of easycatalogue and inDesign but i am strugling to get the CSV file to be useable. it keeps telling me that i need to select a Unique key and that i have got multiple occurences of "".
I think i need to manualy edited the CSV file.

I still think a `print this page` option would be handy for some Actinic users.
