    SSI Problem

    I have a site with a header and footer as seperate Server side includes. They are saved as header.shtm and footer.shtm. The File they are in index.shtm work great when viewed. If I try to click a link to another page, again with SSI header & footer, (and this page is called links.shtm), I loose to header and footer. This links page was copied exactly from the index.

    WHY? Any ideas.
    Thanks for helping me, all healp is needed.

    Regards

    If you can provide a web address where it works, and a web address where it does not work, we might be able to track down the difference.

    There is just not enough in your post to go on.

      I may have solved it. Online, on the website it works fine, but locally, (by pressing F12), not.
      Does this sound correct?

        S = Server S=Side I=Include, sounds right to me

        Until they are on a server, there is nothing to process the changes.
