Has anybody had problems with outgoing email - specifically with NTL dial up?
My PC was at the hospital most of last week so didn't notice the problem until I got it back - there's a notice on the NTL server status site posted on 2nd June regarding email problems, but not specifically stating it relates to outgoing only.
I've had to set up a different dial-up for outgoing only which is a royal pain since incoming works OK.
Have heard through a reliable source that AOL and another company (NTL?) have had fisty cuffs and even AOL outgoing is not working.
It's a bit rich since this has been a problem for a week now, and of course they don't respond to emails regarding the problem.
Oh for the day when they finally connect us up to broadband (the cablework runs through the town, but they won't hook it up!).
