barcodes and stock control with sage

Hi, we are looking for a system to control our stock.
All products have a barcode, is there a system out there that will let me scan a product and update stock in Sage Line 50 without me having to do a manuel print out stock take each month/week.

We want to be able to scan products purchased from a supplier and have stock updated in sage. When we do a stock take we can scan a barcode and enter the amout on units we have in stock, this will link to sage and adjust accordingly.

Any ideas or recomendations.

Don't know anything about Sage but it sounds like the Sage holds the stock database.
If your Sage stock code was the bar code, you could scan this into your data entry page, after all a bar code scanner is only effectively an auto keyboard.
Perhaps your Sage stock codes can have an alternative number, which is the barcode?
