Hi,
We have a potential new customer looking for us to build their site using Actinic. The current site is not actinic and is an open source software built site which is functional and seems to work ok.
Now to the problem. The company that built the site moved from the uk to india and have now disappeared off the face of the earth and all phone and fax lines have been cut.
We need to try and find out it the current site is a ticking time bomb and when and if it will explode. We assume the company that will remain nameless have a reseller account with someone which will expire when it's annual renewal is due and therefore all sites within this reseller account will cease to function.
The company who will remain nameless have their own named servers and I have done a trace on the IP address and think (by using dnsstuff.com) the site is hosted in Dallas, Texas.
Is there anyway of finding out the name of the company that is hosting the site?
Hope this is possible and some tekkie person out there has the answer!
Many thanks for reading this long post.
Regards,
Dave
