    Yesterdays weather

Well the traffic was terrible yesterday and there was debris everywhere.

I pop out into the garden when i got home and lo and behold theres a 30 foot tree plastered over my lawn - anyone got any horror stories from yesterday?

it was like the land of oz. (Nottingham)
the missus was sent into the garden to "close the bloody door on the shed again...." ( it was raining, and I didn't leave it open ! ) - two minutes later, I look out the window and there's a shed door lying on the grass
When I get out there, the shed has been "blown apart" - doors off, roof off, bits all over the place.
the only thing to do is to dismantle the rest of the plastic snap together shed - I get one panel in my hand and take off like a glider across the garden.

sheds no good what so ever, can't even burn it and keep warm - looks like a nother con from the insurance agent - Billy Connelly had the right idea in a film a couple of nights ago - "sue god for his acts ! "

boy. not been out of breath like that since . . . ( can't go into that here, but I enjoyed the previous time )

Mine spent 7 hours on a train - traveled 60 miles and ended up back where she started

We lost "just" the ridge tiles. Neighbours lost 3 chimneys with the road being closed for almost 8 hours whilst the fire brigade dismantled what was left - so we got off quite lightly.

So that wasn't her landing sideways at Birmingham airport yesterday then?

not seen the pics, but she does drink quite a bit so it could have been her.

The pics were of a large, ungainly object with terrified people screaming at it.

Just caught up with this, some funny posts guys.

Maybe there's a lesson for us all, some off-commerce subjects can occasionally lighten the forum.

                          Cheers

That would be Kevin's shed door .... the uplift on those is phenomenal

Can I reply to this - or do I have to start a new thread called - the day before yesterday's weather - or was it the day before the day before yesterday? Sod it - I will just have to be happy with the thread count I've got.
