    Travel to Plaistow

I need to travel from Tamworth to Plaistow one day next week, anyone offer any advice on where i should get trains to?

If i left early enough, could i drive?

Are there any websites where you put where you live and where you want to go and they plan a journey for you?

If I'm feeling flush, I would always use the train - the networks in London are marvellous in coverage, if a little shaky sometimes. IIRC, the Tube is the best way from either Euston or Kings Cross.
Just avoid using the tube between c. 07:30 and 09:00.
    Kind Regards

always consider splitting the journey into two parts - it sounds wierd but sometimes very very cost effective
          example
if you travel before 9am and buy a SINGLE ticket, then the WHOLE journey will be at peak-rates (read very expensive) but you could buy a ticket for just four stops (for example) at the pre-9am rate and then another ticket for after 9am (much much cheaper) from the 4th stop to the final destination.
There's no need to change trains or even seats, you just happen to have a valid expensive ticket for the first part of the journey and a valid ticket for the very cheap part of the journey. - You can save yourself a LOT of money this way.
