    Integration with databases

I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this one.

I have an ecommerce site with Actinic set up entirely without html knowledge. I would now like to embark on a second project, but it requires database integration.

The site I have in mind would allow people to register their details, and allow other people to search those details. So this would require the data to be stored in a searchable way. It isn't really possible to do this with Actinic, because (they tell me) they don't support database integration.

Does anybody know of other template software that allows for the following:
    - website creation
    - ecommerce integration (ie payment processing)
    - database integration?

Or, do you know the best way of discovering what may be available? From experience, I would prefer a UK provider rather than a US one.

Thanks for any help and suggestions!

what you're basically asking is for someone to suggest something like a content management system?

how about joomla? or mambo types of CMS?

Thats the great thing about Actinic it can be used by those with very little skill to get a site working. The others that have been suggested will require that you get your hands dirty with html.

There are loads of systems out there to do what you want to do - do a google search and I am sure you will find them.
