Credit cards how do you accept them?

just been having a thought this week
about all these options

Merchant accout with bank and a payment gateway?
Paypal pro?
Nochex merchant account?
Google checkout?
Ukash ? ( only just seen this) more for none CC users

anyway the thought was as a customer what do you prefer to see?
what puts you off?

as a web desinger/owner what do you prefer?

i have used most and seems sometimes people run away when confronted with paypal etc
i get them on the phone to call details thorough instead

any thoughts on this people

I avoid shops where the only payment option is Nochex, Nochex have some really dodgy refund policies - ie: they don't refund if the purchased goods are not delivered. We got stung by this on a PC purchase where the PC wasn't delivered, paid by credit card but found out later that it had actually gone though nochex, it took months to get the money back and it came from my bank not nochex.

I'm happy to shop using standard PSPs or paypal though.
