google is getting to be too Big Brother for my liking.
A friend of mine used the £10 google checkout offer and is now cross that her CC number is displayed in her google acct along with shopping history.
I feel inclined myself to only use google through a 3rd party obsfucator, or at the very least ensure I am always logged out of my google acct.
For the same reasons as I don't have a Nectar card or any other supermarket loyalty card, there's to much data collection going on for my paranoid mind.

I don't use it - I also don't want Google monitoring and collating all my searches.
I do however use GoogleCheckout and (as with Amazon) like the fact that with just a couple of clicks I can complete a sale withour having to enter my info over and over again. GC only shows the last few digits of the cc details as per most accounts.
I am also against Nectar and Tesco cards because it gives me no convenience and no benefit. I think it's amazing that people collect points in exchange for stupid discounts on expensive things that they don't want.

My Tescos card is used for shopping abroad for wholesale quantities of nappies, so I get heaps of vouchers, and the little ones to be used in store are always for the things I don't buy from them: fresh meat (!fresh?? Joke - bought 4 portions of chicken once, went to cook that evening and one was decidedly at least 4 days older than the other 3 and stunk rotten), or fresh veg
They also try to tempt me to shop at my 'nearest' Tescos with vouchers specifically at that store, which by their postcode calculator is actually not very convenient to get to from my house (wrong side of a ford impassable most of the winter!), there are 2 others both nearer and easier to get to.Miranda Stamp

"Follow interesting trends in your web activity.
Which sites do you visit frequently? How many searches did you do between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.? Web History can tell you about these and other interesting trends on your web activity."
Do I really need to know this? Or is it more useful to someone else?
