sorry guys, went to bed last night and have not touched the pc since!

I don't know if it's just too early in the morning, but if I click on many of the thumbnails (most/all link to a .php), nothing happens - I have to right click and "open in a new tab" to get anywhere - most visitors wouldn't do this. Anyone else having the same issue?
What are they supposed to do? - when I click on them it prints an image.
They don't work for me either. perhaps it's related to the php page extension - or the php itself of course.
This is obviously worrying as most of my pages are php. I am somewhat flumuxed as I have not come across this (and I have tested on loads of pcs/browsers combos). Is anyone else getting this problem? What browsers/windows etc are you using? Antivirus etc? I hope that you all have something in common! The links are just bogstandard links so the only thing must be because its a .php file. weird.

edit: may just have fixed this, the links had a trailing "/", could someone check again for me?

    Yebbut whatif scriptys don't work?
Only 2% of my site visitors have javascript disabled and when it fails, most of the time it fails safe (not always). Also, I didnt think anyone could order without javascript?

Ive no side bar so I cannot view the bottom of the page
Do you mean the scroll bar? What browser are you using?

your usage of space, colour and layout are bang on.
you have made my day its coming together nicely. I still have a but more work to do and I have used inline css for coding so am about to move it all out to a seperate css file and I need to do a little bit of tidying of scripts etc. end in sight though

    Thanks all,
    Paul.

I fixed the scroll bar problem (I hope), it works my side anyhoo. It was something to do with my position:absolute. I did notice that some of the thumbs are outside of there boxes in IE6, so another line added to my todo.. lol.

              OK Paul

Sorry - I've had no broadband internet access since yesterday afternoon - had to do real life instead

I'm using IE7 with no restrictions (javascript is enabled etc)

I do have a side bar.

If I select "Block" using the browse drop down, I get the three thumbnails Jewellery, Homeware, Lighting. Rolling over these I get the Alt tag popup "content panel" on the first thumbnail, nothing on the other two, and "block" if I go outside the page.

My first instinct is to click on a thumbnail to go further - the little hand suggests I should be able to, and the link on the bottom left of the browser does too, but nothing happens. My last instinct (might be just me) is to click on the heading (ie "Jewellery") and I have just discovered that this does work.

The lack of action on the thumbnail is what I meant by the scripts (ie .php) not working. Hope this helps.

                Hi Mark,

Thanks for your detailed reply. I see what you mean - you are right on all points as to how it should work, I have not set up the titles yet (hence the "content panel" text). The image AND the link should both work. I have seen what the problem is and fix it later today (the link on the image is actually a link on the container div which works fine in all but IE - I will make it just the image).

                Thanks for helping me debug

                Paul.
