New site review requests => Control them?

Hi Guys

Any chance of setting up a new forum for site reviews so we can take them out of the support forum?

Also, setting a minimum number of posts may be helpful to prevent needless advertising (set to 10/20 to ensure they are an active user and NOT just getting some free inbound links?)

Also make the forum private (not viewable to guests) so there is NO BENEFIT from posting in there for SEO thus reducing the spam attempts further...

Anyone else go with this?
Common practise on other forums we frequent....

Boy they annoy me, we work with a well know auction programme and on 1 forum you get many GREAT NEW SITE HAVE A LOOK, you go across and guess what..............

Do you mean a new catergory just for REVIEW MY SITE?
and make that private or the entire forum private?

The Admin of this forum can easily "hide" any catergory from the outside world until they register an account, mind you, if the entire forum catergories were hidden then no one would register!...............lol

and ban all those that ask a question then bugger off and don't tell you how the problem was sorted

I think it is an SEO thing - he is reverse engineering his profile to boost his rankings to buy the helicopter he is after - my 4 word web site has him rattled
